Point of Inspiration: Devotionals for Personal and Corporate Worship

One of today’s most demanding jobs is that of an Air Traffic Controller. Misreading a coordinate or reticence to communicate information is a matter of life and death. But God has levied Christians with a greater charge than that. Christ commissioned Christians to spread the Good News of Christ’s grace and guide unbelievers toward a safe eternal destiny. It is the verbal testimony of Christians that offers the world true hope. While it would have been easier to disseminate the message through inviolate, tireless, trustworthy angels God did not discharge the Great Commission to these celestial creatures. Christ died for men, not angels. Thus angels, aliens from the Covenant of Christ’s Blood, are prohibited from sharing the Gospel. God assigned men, reborn through Christ’s Blood, for this task. It’s an awesome assignment, but the question remains: Are you showing others the way to God? Remember, the Bible says, “The power of life and death is in the tongue”!
